We are recruiting for two job vacancies, a SETsquared Bristol Manager and an Entrepreneur in Residence.

SETsquared Bristol Manager
We are looking for an ambitious, entrepreneurial and outgoing individual to join our team to support our portfolio of deep tech startup and spinout member companies. This full-time position will be a perfect role if you enjoy working in a fast-paced tech startup environment, are a natural networker and have a can-do attitude. You will manage all aspects of business support and member activities on a day-to-day basis. Beyond programme design and delivery, you will be responsible for fostering engagement with investors, advisers, and the University of Bristol’s research and talent base on behalf of members.
The ideal candidate will have a background in entrepreneurial enterprise and/or a technology incubator, and have first-hand knowledge of the work practices, issues and culture of entrepreneurial spinout and startup ventures. You will also have experience of managing programmes, delivering training and providing authoritative guidance to entrepreneurially minded individuals looking to create their own technology companies.

Entrepreneur in Residence
We are recruiting an Entrepreneur in Residence (consultant up to one day per week) to support our portfolio of deep tech spinout member companies.
Our member companies are from multiple technology sectors and are ‘innovation-led’, ie. original IP or a novel approach is the primary driver behind the foundation and growth of the business. As a university incubator, our programmes and network are tailored to support the founders, and journeys of high-growth potential tech and deep tech spinouts and startups.
The role of the Entrepreneur in Residence is to work alongside the SETsquared team to deliver effective and impactful, founder-focused business incubation for innovation-led businesses with high growth potential.
